Abuja, Nigeria — October 16, 2025: The GOTNI Leadership Centre (GLC) hosted a historic high-level diplomatic visit by The Honourable Dickon Mitchell, Prime Minister of Grenada, at its Abuja centre. Welcomed by GLC’s Founder and CEO, Dr. Linus Okorie, MFR, the engagement emphasized a shared mission to deepen Africa–Caribbean collaboration and positioned GOTNI as a pivotal institution advancing transformational leadership across the Global Black community.
The visit marks a significant milestone for South–South engagement, as Prime Minister Mitchell applauded GLC’s efforts in building global-ready leaders. “GOTNI’s work in developing principled, capable leaders is invaluable,” said Prime Minister Mitchell. “Africa and the Caribbean share a common heritage and a common future. Our prosperity will be shaped by the quality of leaders we raise at national, regional, and community levels—and by partnerships like this that convert shared heritage into shared advancement.”
In a strategic dialogue session led by Dr. Okorie, the discussion focused on equipping rising leaders to drive systemic transformation. Key themes included expanding education beyond classroom learning to include human values and behavioural understanding; prioritizing health and wellness—including nutrition and substance avoidance—as a basis for productivity; and championing intergenerational wealth creation alongside reforming inherited political systems to better serve people-centered development.
The visit also opened pathways for economic partnership. Using the GOTNI platform, Prime Minister Mitchell presented compelling investment and tourism opportunities in Grenada to Nigerian business stakeholders, with focus areas including luxury real estate and hospitality, offshore oil and gas collaboration—where Nigerian expertise is highly valued—and Grenada’s Investment Migration Programme via the National Transformation Fund or approved real estate projects. He further called for direct air links between Africa and the Caribbean to boost economic mobility, cultural exchange, and diplomatic ease. “Our partnership with Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell and the people of Grenada signals a new chapter in leadership export from Africa to the world,” said Dr. Linus Okorie, MFR. “GOTNI exists to raise a new cadre of ethical, visionary leaders who build institutions, create wealth, and advance human flourishing. By connecting Africa’s leadership assets with emerging Caribbeann opportunities we are ex-

panding what is possible for the Global Black Community—economically, culturally, and civically.”
The engagement concluded with a shared commitment to pursue long-term leadership development initiatives across Grenada and the broader Caribbean, aligning GOTNI’s globally tested leadership philosophy with regional growth aspirations. Both parties reaffirmed their
dedication to building a new wave of transformational leaders who will drive inclusive growth, institutional trust, and lasting prosperity.
